Product Placement

(Photo from Kingston Guardian, UK)

A story from the UK today about an aviation history memorial that's been sitting underground for years opens questions about the placement of corporate art when the corporation that bought it goes down the tubes.

At least this piece is hanging up somewhere and hasn't been left to rust in a storage unit somewhere, but I was thinking about the topic of non-site-specific art and where it ends up as circumstances change.
